Everyone's talking about how they were rescued by their One True Love... but really, I want more of us to talk about ourselves! Women helping women, not out for some stupid ballad-inspired romantic love but because we're worth it on our own!
I swear, there's something totally incompatible between the feminist movement and tower recoverees and it's weird and it sucks and I think we should change that.

I agree with Lettuce. Even if you are saved by a man, you don't OWE him the rest of your life or happiness... right?

I don't know if I would have been able to leave my tower if I hadn't seen Lancelot... that's kind of depressing. Ugh, now I feel bad about myself! But I do love him...

I agree with Lettuce. Even if you are saved by a man, you don't OWE him the rest of your life or happiness... right? no you DEFINITELY don't. but i do think love can be really rewarding, and can give you strength when you need it most. it's not black and white. |
