Lancelot. Ever since I saw him, I just wanted to step into his story, you know? I've seen so many lovers and champions and funerals in my mirror, and I just wanted to be PART of it for once. Not just singing and weaving and being all by myself... what use it being able to tell stories if there's no one there to have your own with? But then I left the tower and I don't think he'd know who I am unless I literally painted my name on my boat. And even then, he just knows me as a fairy... a living, breathing girl who loves him? he could never see it. I know I should be focusing on me, but... it hurts.

Ignore BR. She has a problem with fairytale romances. It's okay to be in love, but you have to ask yourself this: you never left the tower before you met him. Why are you willing to risk so much for love of him? Why don't you love yourself enough to risk it for yourself, instead?

lancelot might be gallant. but life isn't some epic poem. or if it is, you don't have to be trapped by it... maybe athena will step in, write an extra couple chapters, and save you. but if she doesn't, well, write your own chapters. elaine, what if instead of choosing things because you think they make the best story, you just choose things because it would make you happy? what would your life be like then?
